Southern Arizona has been my home for over 30 years. My roots are here and I'm very familiar with the area and what it has to offer. Over the years, I've lived in Tucson as well as other surrounding communities, where much of the new growth in our area is now heading.
Prior to my real estate career, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. My natural analytical nature along with the skills I developed in this pursuit have proven to be a great asset in my real estate business. After graduating in 1990, I worked for several years in the non-related fields of account management and marketing. These endeavors helped increase my ability to work closely with others, listen to their needs and communicate effectively.
In addition to my avid interest in Tucson real estate, I also enjoy getting out to the golf course on those rare occasions when I have some free time. As part of my diversified background, I spent about 2 years in the golf industry, and have extensive knowledge concerning all the Tucson and surrounding area golf courses, including the market demographics effecting each.
I entered the real estate business in 1998 and acquired my Brokers license in January of 2002. In 1999, I was asked to begin teaching the new agent licensing class at the Brodsky School of Real Estate, a Tucson "institution" for over 30 years. A short time later I began teaching the broker licensing class. For the previous 9 years I have also taught contract writing and other required classes to both new and experienced agents and brokers. The time commitment is minimal and the knowledge and connections it provides often proves invaluable.
When working with clients, I view my position as that of an educator, consultant and advisor. My duty is to provide them with the information and guidance they need to make informed decisions, discuss the pros and cons of those decisions, and insure they do the things necessary to protect their interests throughout the transaction. Through my experience and detailed understanding of the AAR sales contract, I am able to make sure that things are done properly to avoid liability or put the transaction in jeopardy. My skill at cutting through red tape and anticipating potential problems increases the probability that your transaction will proceed smoothly and with no surprises. Finally, when it's time to negotiate, I know the techniques that will maximize your profit or savings.
